Thinking of getting married at Headstone Manor Museum?

Rachel and Dany did just that. Check out their Wedding day…

What a BLUEtiful Day…

Think blue; delphinium blue, RAF blue, blue suede shoes blue, sapphire blue and you’re almost there. The beautiful blue colour scheme at Rachel and Dany’s wedding was inspired. Even the 1940’s single storey bus (in which the bridal party, Rachel and her Dad arrived at the church) matched perfectly. And the sky didn’t let the side down either; there wasn’t a cloud in sight! The day was blessed with one of the finest October days I’ve experienced. It was more like a beautiful summers day!

Church Wedding in Stanmore

Rachel and Dany got married at the wonderful St. John’s Church in Stanmore. It’s a beautiful church set in the ruins of the old church which was bombed out during the 2nd world war.

The couples love of music was evident; the service was intertwined with music being played on various instruments by family and friends. One piece of the music during the ceremony was a recorded piece which the couple composed and played together. Just beautiful!

Reception at Headstone Manor Museum

The couple chose to have their reception at the Headstone Manor Museum Harrow, which is a 1600 century barn. Barn wedding’s are one of my favourite settings, and offer a rustic feel to a wedding day. The space was perfectly decorated with a bar at one end and the dance floor at the other. It was kitted out with children’s toys, tents and a foosball table which kept the kids and Big Kids entertained throughout the reception and speeches.

It’s true to say, that I will start to be known as the ‘crying photographer’ as I just can’t stop the tears from falling during heart felt moments. And Dany and Rachel’s day was no exception. Especially when Rachel played a piece of music for Dany on the piano, which she had recently composed. So romantic! Who needs words to express love!

I loved spending the day with Rachel and Dany, and all their wonderful friends and family. I felt so welcomed and more like a guest than the photographer.

Thank you Guys!!!

Congratulations you two. I wish you a lifetime of happiness together.

Love Katie xxx
